What Not To Worry About
The ever-present narrative continues. Obama's all style over substance, rather conveniently forgetting this and this - oh, and much more recently this - which all occurred in the vacuum of 30-second soundbites.
And have consistently been replaced by this and this - and let's not forget this.
Luckily, there's appears to be one time when the media can be shut up and McCain shut down, and it can be summed up in two words:
Invesco Field.
The 75,000 people thing is mildly idiotic, but the opportunities for Obama to summarize everything he's been trying to float above the noise and character assassination - and turn the kitchen tables by asking what exactly does John McSame offer? - are priceless.
This is his greatest task for this convention. Not what Hillary or Bill (or even John McCain) have to say. How to outline his values, his plans, and do so in short easily digestible bites suitable for public (and media) consumption.
The debates to come are another matter for another time...
