Disconnect We Can Believe In

I really don't want to hear jack shit from Valerie Jarrett, who like others in this Administration (see: David Axelrod and Bob Gibbs), are hung out to dry with an alarming regularity.

I want to hear from the President himself, or whoever the hell actually holds the levers of leadership coming out of this blasted White House.

Seriously, they can do the semi-right thing by going after Faux News, but they can't pressure anyone in the Democratic Caucus who seems insistent on holding up more than just one reform this country desperately needs?! Oh fuck me...

This - this right here - is the most massive disconnect between a political reality (Republicans are in a very deep hole) and the complementary political effort (We MUST please a Republican!) I have ever seen.

A part of me just can't wait for 2012 now. Another, perhaps more significant, part of me is afraid of four additional years of what we have right now.
